WEDDING THOUGHTS
You’ve spent hours planning every detail. Picking a venue, choosing a beautiful cake, looking for the right flowers and finding the perfect rings. you’ve put so much of yourself into each decision. Choosing your professional wedding photographer will ensure that you can revisit your wedding day for years to come.
This is where you have to ask some questions and make some decisions. The two biggest questions you need to, yes need to, ask are; who am I working with, and what style and look do I want? No one of these questions is more important that the other. Who you are working with, asks you to think about the fact that your photographer will be with you for almost every minute of your day. Make sure you like your photographer’s personality. Your best way to do so is to meet them in person. I for one know that my meetings are free. It’s a better plan than a quick phone call or the dreaded no personality e-mail.
Now the fun question, style. Every photographer has one and I’m no exception. In fact some photographers change and blend styles from event to event or year to year. As for my style I would say its a mix of contemporary (modern) and classic photojournalism, what I like to call more accurately street photography. The contemporary is based on simple clean images and simple relaxed posses. The street style is about candidness. The bride and groom interact with each other or their surroundings and not looking into the lens and interacting with the photographer.
